Genesis House, Inc. was established in May 1985. We specialize in providing substance abuse and gambling counseling to adults, adolescents, and families.

Our primary focus is rooted in developing acceptance, awareness of the addiction process, use of support services, and cognitive behavioral changes that support recovery.

What to Expect at Genesis House

  • Individuals will be an integral part of their treatment and aftercare planning. Treatment goals are a reflection of a person’s self-identified purpose and motivation.

  • Individuals will be accepted, encouraged, and validated during the treatment process without judgment.

  • If you want to feel in control of your life, your choices, and your feelings, seeking help and engaging in the therapeutic process is the first step to becoming empowered.

How Do I Access Services?

All referrals are initiated by calling (570) 322-0520 or emailing us at info@genesishouseoutpatient.com. During this process, you will be connected with our friendly staff who will schedule you for an initial assessment with a qualified clinician.

How Much Does it Cost?

We participate with most major insurance carriers. We also accept PerformCare, Community Care Behavioral Health, Health Choices, Single County Authority, and self-pay. At Genesis House, Inc., we believe people are not defined by their diagnosis. We offer multi-lingual, individualized treatment to individuals and their families. Telehealth services can be offered to accommodate work/life balance, as appropriate.
