Workplace challenges such as access to medication, irregular work hours, emotional trauma and knowledge of medications can be barriers to sustainable recovery. Our staff will work with you to help you navigate treatment, provide education, and support you through your process.

This specialized group is only open to Medical Professionals.
Medical Professionals Assessments
The Genesis House provides substance use evaluations for professionals whom are directed by PHMP and/or PNAP to complete an evaluation and/or treatment. Our evaluation will provide you with:
- Detailed Recommendations for treatment, if appropriate
- A back to work assessment with recommendations regarding fitness to practice
- A summary for monitoring or licensing boards or other professional contacts as needed.
The Genesis House is able to perform the assessment and, if indicated, provide the treatment needed. Genesis House also participates with the Professional Health Monitoring Program (PHMP) and the Pennsylvania Nurse Peer Assistance Program (PNAP). We have licensed and certified staff available to meet all licensing requirements.
