My name is Sarah. I graduated from Lycoming College in 2015 with a dual degree in Psychology and Art. I have been working in the substance use disorder and mental health field for 4 years. I received my CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) in 2020. I am currently in the process of obtaining my MSW (Masters of Social Work) from Widener University. I believe that treatment should be individualized, trauma-informed, and treat the whole person. I specialize in treating LGBTQ+ individuals. I frequently incorporate the arts (such as music, writing, and visual arts) into my approach. I also incorporate aspects of MI (Motivational Interviewing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) into my approach, in order to help people become the best version of themselves.
In my spare time, I like to create, cook, play with my 3 cats, and spend time outside!
